Arise, Child

Reflection on Mark 5:41

Everybody feels depressed from time to time. It’s nothing to be ashamed of. It’s also nothing to be taken lightly. Sometimes, extreme depression needs the help of professionals who are trained to deal with it.

Depression brings a deep, deep darkness into our lives when we experience it. It’s easy to get trapped by depression into thinking there’s no way out. But that’s a lie. It is possible to find light in the darkness and follow it out.

Note: If you are struggling with extreme depression, please seek out the help of a professional. You deserve more out of life, and they can help you attain it.
