Today, I invite you to spend some time in silent consideration. Imagine me sitting with you and asking the following questions. Allow the time to turn into an internal conversation with me. I think this works best as a journalling exercise.
Everybody needs a bit of good news in their lives. What would be really good news for you right now? Why is it good news that you need?
Taking into account that “wants” are different from “needs”, when you look at those around you who long for good news, do you think what they want to hear addresses their wants or needs? What exactly are their needs?
The passage identifies liberation and healing as forms of good news being proclaimed. How does liberation lead to healing? How does healing lead to liberation? How are the two related in your life? How are the two related in the lives of those around you?
Peace, Bo

Support the Cause
My mission is to promote the progressive Christian voice in the spiritual/theological marketplace. I hope that by doing so I will help make the world a more loving place one newsletter at a time.
If you are not already a paying subscriber, I encourage you to consider it. It takes many (many) hours each week to create all the content for this project, and by becoming a paid subscriber you support the greater mission through me.
Will you consider becoming a financial supporter of the mission for only $6 per month? If so, I would greatly appreciate it.
