• Relationship to another 

• Dominant emotional state 

• Religious or spiritual affiliation

That's just the tip of the iceberg. You could choose any label you want to describe who you are to others. 

Ultimately, what is at stake in your answer is your sense of self. It's your core identity. And it is your core identity from which everything else flows.
