Today, I invite you to spend some time in silent consideration. Imagine me sitting with you and asking the following questions. Allow the time to turn into an internal conversation with me. I think this works best as a journaling exercise.
When you are extremely stressed, what physical sensations do you experience? What emotional effects? What health effects? How do your behaviors change?
How do you recharge your personal battery? What activities promote relaxation? What activities derail it?
On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your ability to find time to rest and recharge during a typical week? If your number is high, that’s wonderful! If it’s not, what might you do to integrate more rest and relaxation into your week so you can maintain better health?
