Today, I invite you to spend some time in silent consideration. Imagine me sitting with you and asking the following questions. Allow the time to turn into an internal conversation with me. I think this works best as a journalling exercise.
When you look back at your life, what are the things you’ve done you regret most? Why do you regret them?
If you could turn the clock back in time, what would you do differently? Why would you do that instead?
While turning back the clock isn’t an option, forgiveness heals regret. Where do you need forgiveness for the deeds you regret? Where do others need forgiveness from you for deeds they regret? How can you best communicate that to them?
