Today, I invite you to spend some time in silent consideration. Imagine me sitting with you and asking the following questions. Allow the time to turn into an internal conversation with me. I think this works best as a journalling exercise.
What does it mean to be “poor”? What are some different ways to be “poor”?
What are different ways to be “kind” to the “poor”? What are various ways to be “less than kind” to the “poor”?
Why do you think you should even care about the “poor”? Do you feel it is your responsibility to be “kind” to them? Why or why not?
Peace, Bo

Support the Cause
My mission is to promote the progressive Christian voice in the spiritual/theological marketplace. I hope that by doing so I will help make the world a more loving place one newsletter at a time.
If you are not already a paying subscriber, I encourage you to consider it. It takes many (many) hours each week to create all the content for this project, and by becoming a paid subscriber you support the greater mission through me.
Will you consider becoming a financial supporter of the mission for only $6 per month? If so, I would greatly appreciate it.
