Do you find inspiration in these newsletters but don’t want to commit to a paid membership? Consider the option to…
Today, I invite you to spend some time in silent consideration. Imagine me sitting with you and asking the following questions. Allow the time to turn into an internal conversation with me. I think this works best as a journaling exercise.
Your bodily health is part of your spiritual health. On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate your care of your body? What are you doing to care for it? What are you doing to harm it?
If you aren’t taking care of your body, why not? What is getting in the way of that? If you were to remove all the time constraints and other obstacles, would you care for your body then? If so, how? If not, why not? What psychological barriers are keeping you from it?
I want you to take a couple of minutes and listen to your body. Close your eyes, breathe, and relax. When you feel ready, start scanning from your toes to your head for where you are holding tension. When you find a knot, focus your attention there. Where do you think that tension comes from? What emotions create it? Why are you feeling those emotions? When you feel you understand the tension and the emotions, let the tension flow down your body and into the ground.
Peace, Bo

Support the Cause
My mission is to promote the progressive Christian voice in the spiritual/theological marketplace. I hope that by doing so I will help make the world a more loving place one newsletter at a time.
If you are not already a paying subscriber, I encourage you to consider it. It takes many (many) hours each week to create all the content for this project, and by becoming a paid subscriber you support the greater mission through me.
Will you consider becoming a financial supporter of the mission?
If so, I would greatly appreciate it.
