Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when was it that we saw you hungry and gave you food or thirsty and gave you something to drink? And when was it that we saw you a stranger and welcomed you or naked and gave you clothing? And when was it that we saw you sick or in prison and visited you?’ And the king will answer them, ‘Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did it to me.’

That quote from the Dune movie from the late 1980s has stuck with me all these years. Overall, the story is about the development of the main character, Paul Atreides, into who he was meant to be. It's about his spiritual awakening. 

Waking up is an amazing metaphor for spiritual growth and development. I use it all the time. Recently, however, the metaphor has received an interesting twist. It’s now being used to refer to those standing for justice.

I definitely approve.
